Patricia Valdez is a lawyer with Postgraduate Studies in Taxation from the University of Lima. She has also studied negotiations and foreign trade at the University of Florida and the World Customs Organization, with more than 29 years of experience in the legal and institutional area, in tax, customs and foreign trade advice.
Váldez currently serves as director of Integrando Consultores S.A.C and is in charge of the legal area of Transler E.I.R.L, a family business dedicated to the transport of bulk cargo and glass recycling, where she has participated in the process of formalizing the glass collectors, allowing them to be part of the glass production chain as formal suppliers.
Valdez has also advised and actively participated in the importation of broken glass from Central America in order to process it and adequately cover the demand for the crushed and washed glass input, necessary in the production of bottles and other glass containers.
She participates in the Working Table against illegal alcohol in the National Society of Industries of Peru, where the process of recycling and the proper destruction of alcoholic beverage containers becomes an important factor in preventing the diversion of this type of packaging for use in the production of adulterated alcoholic beverages.
