Rani Pooran

Rani Pooran is a Senior Advisor on social sustainability issues - gender equality, human rights, just transition, and workforce disclosure at BMO Financial Group. At the bank, she has worked in the Anti-Money Laundering Remediation & Transformation Program in addition to the Inclusion and Sustainability Teams. Prior to joining BMO, Rani worked in the professional services industry in the UK, US and Canada. In 2019, she completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies at The Graduate Institute Geneva in Environmental Policy & Governance where her policy research focused on just transitions. Rani also holds a Masters in International & European Politics (University of Edinburgh) in addition to a Bachelor of Arts Hons. and Masters of Information Studies (University of Toronto). Rani is the current chair of the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative’s Gender Equality Working Group.
