Sohna Aminatta Ngum
Sohna Aminatta Ngum is the Senior Senior Officer, Gender and Social Development at GGGI tasked with providing support to implementation of the first phase of the GGKP Gender Expert Group Program. She is an Independent Consultant focused on gender-responsive green growth and green recovery interventions.
Her work focuses on building partnerships; mobilising resources for and designing programmes; preparing knowledge products and policy actions for gender equality; and building the capacity of stakeholders to support inclusive and green actions. Her work has been funded by various arms of the development value chain including multilateral agencies, the private sector, donors, and international financial institutions.
Sohna has a Master of Arts (Honours) from the University of Aberdeen, and a Master’s from the University of London, University College London (UCL). She is the Director of Inclusion and Impact at a startup addressing global water and energy challenges, and provides expertise to civil society organisations building resilience of vulnerable groups to climate challenges.
