Valeria López-Portillo
Climate and Ecosystem Coordinator
Valeria is a Climate and Ecosystem Coordinator at WRI México. She is responsible for coordinating research projects on climate change and ecosystem conservation, addressing economic, social and environmental variables, as well as interacting with partners on the design and dissemination of policy proposals and methodologies on climate change and ecosystems.
Previously, she held positions at GIZ and the Latin American Think Tank. She has also worked at Future Business Generation, Natura and Mexican Ecosystems and FAO.
Valeria has a master's degree in Environment and International Development from the University of Melbourne and a Biotechnology Engineering degree from Tec de Monterrey.
