Stories of Change from the Joint UNDP-UNEP Poverty-Environment Initiative

This Poverty-Environment Initiative (PEI) publication brings together selected Stories of Change to catalyze and motivate governments, stakeholders, and the international development community at large to invest in, and support, poverty-environment mainstreaming across the globe as one element of the transition to an inclusive, green economy.

The Stories are based on interviews in five Poverty-Environment Initiative countries: Bangladesh, Lao PDR, Malawi, Tajikistan, and Uruguay, as well as the global experience of the PEI.
