From Oct. - Dec. 2017, the National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plans (NBSAP) Forum, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, Governance of Extractive Industries (GOXI) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will host a webinar series on Environmental Governance of the Mining Sector.
It addresses environmental governance issues and the prevention of socio-environmental mining conflicts, and highlights experiences and lessons learned from several initiatives worldwide.
All webinars are available in English. The webinar series also includes Spanish, Portuguese, and Mongolian sessions.
