This report identifies and assesses best practices for inclusive green growth in Morocco and it focuses on agriculture, energy and waste management. The report contributed to informing the Fifth Issue of the Sustainable Development Report on Africa, which was produced under the theme "Promoting sustainable development in Africa through inclusive green growth".
Producing the report involved a desk review and consultations with various stakeholders and an analysis of successes, challenges, best practices and lessons learned during the implementation of activities for inclusive green growth. The report also examined the implication of the findings for policy, including options to foster IGG in the selected sectors.
By documenting key successes, challenges, good practices and lessons learned in the field of inclusive green growth in Morocco, this report will facilitate knowledge networking among member States and regional and sub-regional organizations. The objective is to promote the sharing of best practices, and the scaling up and out of success stories.
