Strengthening Upstream Project Origination for Climate Investment Pipelines (CIP-Readiness) is a GGGI initiative that supports selected GGGI Member and Partner Countries in developing early-stage climate investment project ideas. The project is funded by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Korea (MOFE) through the Korea Green New Deal Trust Fund (KGNDTF), implemented by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), and delivered in partnership with the Korea Development Institute, Center for International Development (KDI CID), and the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership.
Through a structured assessment process, ten countries shown in the map below are selected for initial engagement. Three of these will be chosen for deeper support, including the co-development of investment project concept notes.
