The Global Opportunities for Sustainable Development Goals (GO4SDGs), launched by UNEP in July 2019 with support from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV), successfully concluded in December 2024. The initiative achieved significant results that contributed to advancing the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Regional consultations
GO4SDGs is part of the Stockholm+50 Coordination Team whereby it organized five regional consultations that happened during the month of April and May in the lead-up to the well-anticipated global meeting Stockholm+50: A healthy planet for the prosperity of all – our responsibility, our opportunity. The regional consultations brought different stakeholders to share their insights, initiatives, and best practices in their expertise to provide solutions to address complex issues that require urgent attention.

FARM invites to attend hybrid events at theOpen-Ended Working Group (OEWG) for the Global Framework on Chemicals (GFC), where the programme team will participate in the discussions.
