Launch of the GGKP office in Geneva

To mark the official launch of the Green Growth Knowledge Platform's Geneva-based office, the GGKP, Swiss Government and Geneva Environment Network hosted a high-level panel debate and lunch reception. The event took place Wednesday, 22 January from 11:00-14:00 at the International Environment House II in Geneva, Switzerland.

International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development (ICTSD) was an organization that aimed to influence the international trade system such that it advances the goal of sustainable development by empowering stakeholders in trade policy through information, networking, dialogue, well-targeted research and capacity building. ICTSD was an independent non-profit organization founded in 1996 and was based in Geneva, Switzerland. ICTSD ceased operations in 2018.

National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change (INECC)

The National Institute of Ecology and Climate Change (INECC) has its origins in the National Institute of Ecology (INE), created in 1992 as a division of the Ministry of Social Development, with technical and regulatory powers, becoming in 2001 a scientific research institute within the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT). In 2012, INECC was created in accordance with the new General Law on Climate Change.
