This event sets the stage with key insights and framework conditions from lead author of the 1.5-degree lifestyles report and will hear the perspective of 3 young advocates from around the world, who are acting, inspiring, and enabling young people to be part of the change.
The session’s objective is to present the Latin American and the Caribbean vision for Circular Economy. The session will showcase what makes Circular Economy distinctive in the LAC region, what is already being advanced in the region and to discuss challenges and enabling conditions for the vision.
On 15 September (9am EDT & 1pm GMT), join the African Circular Economy Alliance (ACEA) and Circular Economy Coalition for Latin America & the Caribbean for the virtual event Regional deep dive: Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean joining forces for circularity, held on the margins of the 2021 World Circular Economy Forum.
The International Resource Panel (IRP) and the UNEP Regional Office for West Asia have organized a consultation in partnership with the ‘Global Opportunities for Sustainable Development Goals’ (GO4SDGs) initiative to hear from critical regional stakeholders who work on sustainable resource management, resource efficiency, and sustainable consumption and production.
This engaging six-week online course will focus on harnessing circular economy principles and systems-based approaches to explore ways in which we can redesign our systems, products and services to allow us to achieve a sustainable living for all, within planetary limits.
