On 27 October 2022 (14:00 Central America and Mexico) Global Opportunities for SDGs (GO4SDGs) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) are organizing the second of the series of workshops on the topic of ‘Green Jobs: training professionals with purpose. A Latin American and Caribbean perspective’, inviting Caribbean stakeholders.

The Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Future Lab for Innovation and Policy – a collaborative partnership between SEED and GO4SDGs – offers a platform for green SME stakeholders, such as policy makers, financiers and entrepreneurs, to make the agriculture and food sector ready for 2030 by developing future-proof solutions for today’s challenges.

On 4 October 2022 (14.30-18.00 GMT+7) SEED and GO4SDGs, in collaboration with SWITCH, are hosting the Asia Future Lab for Innovation and Policy. The Lab offers a platform for green SME stakeholders to make the textile and fashion sector ready for 2030 by developing future-proof solutions for today’s challenges. The lab focuses on the clothing and apparel industries and addresses challenges along the value chain from production to consumption.

On 27-19 September VAIVÉN 2022 will bring together in person and virtually, different institutions and key players in Latin America and the Caribbean, to build bridges on the road to the transition to circularity.

UNEP FI, UNEP, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), IDB invest, the eco.business Development Facility and its Sustainability Academy, GO4SDGs, Circular Economy Coalition are organizing a series of webinars exploring how financial institutions can accelerate the transition to a circular economy. The events are held in Spanish, with simultaneous translation into English and Portuguese from June to October 2022.
