At COP28, the Green Jobs for Youth Pact is putting young people front and center of the green transformation. A collaborative effort by the International Labour Organization (ILO), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Green Jobs for Youth Pact is hosting a series of events focusing on amplifying youth voices in crucial discussions around climate change, just transition and green jobs. 

Pakistan has one of the highest percentages of mismanaged plastic in South Asia. More than 3.3 million tons of plastic are wasted in Pakistan each year, and most of it ends up in landfills, unmanaged dumps, or in nature—land and water bodies across the country[1].
