The webinar will present the latest data and findings from the Global Landscape of Climate Finance 2019, which outlines the scale, key actors, instruments, recipients, and uses of finance supporting climate change mitigation and adaptation.

In this course, participants will learn about the irrigation supply chain, from water sources to root zone. First, the course will cover how to calculate the amount of water plants need to produce a healthy and plentiful crop. It will then show how this water is supplied to the roots and how it gets to the field from the source. This course also illustrates how efficiency influences the design and operation of both the water application and conveyance components of irrigation systems, and it explores a number of real-world systems, including drip irrigation and surface irrigation.

The School will address key elements of the new economy transformation, exploring the cutting edge methods and policy applications in ecological economics. The course will be composed of theoretical and applied modules and will address three key elements of the new economy transformation: an industrial ecology approach, multiple criteria methods for decision making and new tools for measuring progress.
