NIP Dialogues

The NIP Dialogue Series – Voices from the Countries offer a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange and collaborative learning surrounding the GEF 10785 project on the global development, review and update of National Implementation Plans (NIPs) under the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs).

It delves into a range of topics related to NIPs, including:

  • Developing and updating national POPs inventories for NIPs
  • Integrating NIP priorities into national policies and legislation
  • Strategies for POPs management in NIP implementation
  • Stakeholder engagement and data collection for POPs management
  • Gender and social inclusion in POPs management

Through insightful conversations with key actors from around the globe, the series explores the challenges and opportunities encountered in developing, reviewing and updating NIPs. Countries, regional centres, academia and all technical experts working on NIPs or POPs management are warmly invited to join this global knowledge-sharing effort.
