The United Nations University Integrated Management of Material Fluxes and of Resources (UNU-FLORES) develops strategies to resolve pressing challenges in the area of sustainable use and integrated management of environmental resources, such as soil, water, and waste. Focusing on the needs of the United Nations and its Member States, particularly in developing countries and emerging economies, the Institute engages in research, capacity development, advanced teaching and training, as well as dissemination of knowledge.
The 4th annual SDG Business Forum will take place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on Wednesday, 25 September 2019. The Business Forum provides a unique multi-stakeholder platform to support business action and partnerships to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – fostering public-private dialogues, catalysing new partnerships and alliances, and exploring innovative business solutions to accelerate sustainable development.
