Ukraine commits to the integration of ESD into the educational process in Ukraine in the pilot cities: Kyiv, Irpin, Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia. This will be done through the integration of sustainable development, in particular the ecological component, methodologies, best practices in the educational system, formal and informal education aimed at the formation and development of environmental competencies at various levels.
The commitment falls under focus areas 4, 5, 7, 8, 9.
It is relevant to SDGs 4, 7, 11, 16, 17.
The commitment is part of the Nicosia call 2022.
